Taichi Mizuno, our latest youth exchange student from Nagasaki, Japan, arrived in Minnesota on Friday, August 17.  He was greeted at the airport by the Mulhern's, his first host family, Al Uniacke and John Chandler.

Taichi plays basketball on his school team and performs koko-desho, which is throwing a miniature shrine up in the air. Outside of school, he likes classical ballet, tap dance, and hip-hop. His interests are in basketball, music, dance, and gospel. Taichi had never been outside Japan before becoming a Rotary Youth Exchange Student and coming to Saint Paul. He wants to become fluent in English so that he can communicate with many different people.
