Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an all-expense-paid, five-day training program for high-school-age leaders and potential leaders.

Parents and camp participants tell us that Camp RYLA helps shape young people. RYLA provides a memorable opportunity to learn, grow, have fun, and make new friends. Your high school student can experience new situations - new ideas and new challenges - in a safe and supporting environment.

Camp RYLA encourages students to look at themselves in the context of other people's beliefs, take risks, share feelings and trust others too. Those who complete RYLA are generally better able to successfully manage their own lives and make a mark on society.

We hope that you will not only encourage your high school student to accept this important opportunity but invite him or her to talk to you about new ideas and experiences - after camp has concluded.

Who provides the leadership at Camp RYLA?

Rotary and Rotaract volunteers serve as adult counselors. Community business and professional leaders are presenters. An adult counselor and junior counselor are assigned to each gender of each group of students.

How to show support?

There is no cost to attend Camp RYLA. If you want to support future Camp RYLA students, your tax-deductible contribution is very much welcomed! Donate online or make your check to the Saint Paul Rotary Foundation, 401 N Robert Street, Ste 150, Saint Paul, MN 55101.
