Celebrating Students and Educators

Each year in May St. Paul Rotary  celebrates Education Day - a treasured club tradition.

Rotation Forward recognizes 8th grade students across all St. Paul Schools who have overcome personal challenges to demonstrate exceptional growth. Students are nominated by their counselors and treated to lunch, a recognition certificate and a Target gift card to reward their resiliency.

Teacher of the Year recognizes an outstanding St. Paul teacher nominated by their peers as well as their students. The Teacher of the Year received $1,000.

A keynote speaker is the highlight of the event for students, teachers, counselors and family members.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press is our media sponsor for this signature community event.

(During the pandemic Education event has been held virtually with mailed awards.)
