Your club foundation’s board of directors met Tuesday, May 16, at the Rondo Center of Diverse Expression for our annual meeting. Highlights include:
- We reviewed agenda for June 6 social. We look forward to recognizing donors and Elmer L. Andersen Fellows, and receiving updates from club project champions. Thanks to Bill Collins for hosting!
- Scholarship Management Task Force, comprised of John Chandler, Carla Hauge, Jim Kosmo, and Melissa Musliner, has met twice. Plan to present work at upcoming club meeting. Look for more information about this soon!
- Polar Plunge in 2024 needs a champion. If interested, contact John Chandler at john.m.chandler@comcast.net.
- Our 2023-24 officers and directors slate were approved:

- Our 2022-23 annual report assignments were reviewed. We plan to publish in November.
- We received updates about Education Day, WinterSpark, and the coffee fundraiser.
- Treasurer’s Report: The money market account funds we transferred after the last meeting have increased 4.8%. We increased our cash in hand from $22,000 to $30,000 for the summer.
- Investment Report: Foundation assets improved to $833,612.67, a 4.42% increase this calendar year.
- Our next board meeting is August 29.
