We will be hearing from Chelsea Fey and Frances Fyten, Metro Industry Relations Representative and Senior Marketing Strategist of Explore Minnesota respectively.
Chelsea Fey has spent her life working in hospitality and nearly a decade in travel and tourism. Prior to her Industry Relations role at Explore Minnesota, she led the marketing and partnership efforts at Visit Saint Paul. She brings curiosity, intention and connection to everything she does and is driven by growth, meaningful collaboration and making a positive impact through her skills for Minnesotans.
Frances Fyten is a Senior Marketing Strategist for Economic Development at Explore Minnesota. Since 2024, she’s been in what she calls her dream job — helping shine a light on why Minnesota is one of the best places in the country to live, work, and do business. Her work focuses on elevating Minnesota’s brand in a way that attracts talent, supports businesses and fuels economic growth.
Prior to her current role, Frances spent nearly a decade at Reputation Partners, a full-service public relations firm based in Chicago. There, she led communications strategies for major clients across hospitality, supply chain and logistics, financial services, education, manufacturing and more. She has worked with startups to global brands, including McDonald's, Lyft, Total Wine & More, Simon Property Group, and Associated Bank, as well as advised organizations on crisis and labor communications, cybersecurity issues, and organizational change.
Frances is a proud Minnesota and St. Paul “boomerang,” and a graduate of Marquette University. She lives in St. Paul’s West 7th neighborhood, where she enjoys being part of the community and contributing to the vitality and growth of the city she calls home.
