Michael-jon helps us celebrate Earth Day with a report on the state of Saint Paul parks. The scope of what our park system does is tremendous. You may think of just your daily walk in a neighborhood park or pushing someone on the swings. In reality, our parks are stepping up to create more downtown vitality, finding new ways to improve our air and water quality, and investing every day in families and young people with programs that serve tens of thousands across the city every day. Michael-jon will bring answers to important questions like "what is the city doing with my additional one cent sales tax?" and "what impact do parks have on the city?" Plus the story of his connection to Pease Park in Austin, TX AND the unveling of Jim Bradshaw Park in Saint Paul this summer! And, knowing Michael-jon, we can expect some fun!
