Dawn L. Selle is the Director of External Affairs & Development. In this role, Dawn oversees donor cultivation, major gifts, partnerships, and community engagements. Dawn’s vast experience in leadership and customer service positions her as a key ambassador for the organization, connecting community members with needed resources and opportunities. She has been instrumental in leading the organization’s Community Archive, which will serve as the hub of cultural and historical exchange in one of the Midwest’s most important locations of African American history. She has developed deep and trusting relationships within the Summit-University neighborhood during her four years in this role and is responsible for planning and executing more than twenty annual events for the organization. Dawn is passionate about the mission of Hallie Q. Brown Community Center and is proud to help amplify the voices and stories of the community.
