Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College and completed a master’s degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2010. She began working in development in 2017 as the Assistant Director, and later as Development Director, for the Dakota County Technical College Foundation. In these roles, Amy secured funding for scholarships, emergency assistance, and academic programs —directly impacting students pursuing their educational and professional goals. More recently, Amy led fundraising efforts for the Ann Bancroft Foundation, overseeing large and small-scale events, grant research and writing, corporate and institutional partnerships, and a variety of campaigns. Amy is thrilled to serve Episcopal Homes—an award-winning senior living community in the heart of St. Paul—as Development Officer. In this role, she builds and deepens meaningful relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional donors, pursues grant opportunities, advises the Donor Relations Committee, and collaborates with colleagues to advance the mission. Amy and her husband have two bright and energetic daughters. The Eppens stay very busy with basketball, dance, and tennis, and enjoy traveling to beach destinations across the country. Amy is an avid reader and loves Starbucks, connecting with friends, and walking their husky/lab mix, Cora.
Kielyn earned her bachelor's degree from Drake University and her Masters in Gerontology from Bethel University. She began her career in elder care with roles at the Alzheimer’s Association and then at Episcopal Homes, working in staff development and volunteer relations. Kielyn discovered a love for building good systems and programs that help people and exceed business goals.In 2018, she launched OrgaNice Professional Organizing Services. OrgaNice serves clients in the Twin Cities metro offering professional home organizing and move coordination services. OrgaNice remains in business with Kielyn’s leadership and the work of her team. Driven by the desire to return to serving seniors at Episcopal Homes, Kielyn took the role of Community Giving Officer in February. The role allows her to develop new and existing relationships with resident donors, plan events to engage new donors and work with colleagues to advance the mission. Kielyn and her husband have one daughter, Aily. In her free time, Kielyn loves hiking with her
dog Domino, trying new exercise classes, reading, baking and good meals with friends.
