5:01 Meeting June 18: Jeff Molby

Join us at the University Club on June 18th as we hear from Jeff Molby.

Jeff is a Rotarian from Caro, Michigan where he's been volunteering for the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life for the last few years. He's also a minimalist who loves to travel, so when his son went off to college last fall, he sold everything and set off on a two-year bike tour around the country in order to help people get to their chemo appointments.

The American Cancer society has an Uber-like program to help people get to their cancer treatments. It's been heartbreakingly short on volunteer drivers since the pandemic, with more than half of the requests being denied because there just aren't enough drivers. Jeff is pedaling around the country on a two-year volunteer mission to change that.
