5:01 Meeting April 15: Writing and Publishing Extraordinary Popular Delusions

Please join us at the Pool and Yacht Club on April 15th at 5:01 pm as we hear from author Dan Keyport.

This presentation is about lessons Dan learned from writing, publishing, and selling his nonfiction work, Extraordinary Popular Delusions of Our Times. If you have ever thought of writing a book, the process may be nothing like you imagined. He will also touch on the book’s major themes of health, financial, cultural, political, and religious delusions.

Dan Keyport grew up in St. Paul, attending St. Thomas Academy, the College of St. Thomas, and the University of St. Thomas. Dan spent 25 years in consulting and information technology, and then in 2005, he opened Dolce Vita Wine Shop in Chaska and joined the Chaska Rotary Club (serving as President in 2012/13).

After selling the business and retiring in 2022, Dan spent the next two years writing and publishing Extraordinary Popular Delusions of Our Times. This program summarizes his lessons learned about the writing and publishing process.
