"Off to the Races"
Saturday, June 27, 2026
2-4 PM
Dove Hill (the historic Louis Hill Mansion)
260 Summit Avenue
Saint Paul, MN 55102

Join us for an elegant garden party to install 2026-2027 DG Michael-jon Pease and celebrate the new class of District 5960 club presidents. We'll gather for a toast before we are "off to the races" for the new Rotary Year on July 1, 2026.

Our inspiration: Tea in the Royal Enclosure at the Ascot Races (so pick out your hats!). Gorgeous bites accompanied by champagne and classic summer cocktails like Pimm's Cup, G&T, Hugo Spritz

Live music by the Gigglewater Gatsby Ensemble

Chef Terry John Zila: Chef Ambassador for Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau appliance brands, he appears on Food Network's Bakers Vs. Fakers, DIY Network's Curb Appeal as a Food and Entertaining Contributor for ABC affiliate KSTP's Twin Cities Live, NBC affiliate KARE 11 News and CBS affiliate WCCO's Morning News

The Venue: Built by James J. Hill in1903 as a wedding present for son Louis and daughter-in-law Maud Hill, this home was meant for gracious entertaining with generous friends. After admiring views of the Mississippi River Valley from the terrace, we'll adjourn to the ballroom that has hosted F. Scott Fitzgerald, Queen Marie of Romania, First Lady Laura Bush, and countless Saint Paul Rotarians for more than a century. Many thanks to Saint Paul Rotarians Dick and Nancy Nicholson for sharing their home with us!

Registration link available after January 1, 2026
